Yoga.AcroYoga.Kirtan.Kalari in Sweden June 25th – July 2nd

The retreat site Hallungen is located in a water- and wildlife conservation area near Svensboegen and Goetheburg. The huge lake with drinking-water quality, light-flooded ambience and sunny atmosphere make the perfect place to take a break and chill, as well as practice.
The cousy and comfortable doublerooms make for calm nights and the spacious living room with a piano calls time together. Yoga and Kalari are practiced outside on the large lawn, the sun deck or in one of the beautiful workshop rooms inside. We can also use the Sauna and the Sweatlodge. The wohle retreat is suitable for students of all levels – from absolute beginners to advanced students. Everyone will be able to tap into their potential and learn and experience something new.

Program

08.00 am: Mantra-singing and meditation
09.15 – 11.00 am: Yoga/Kalari (seperate classes for beginners and intermediate/advanced students)
11.15 am: Brunch
12.00 – 03.00 pm: Free time – swimming, excursions, boat trips, hiking, listening to the bees humming, lying in the sun, AcroYoga-jam, yummy raw-food coffee, music or simply enjoy…
03.00 – 06.00 pm: Workshop – AcroYoga in all its aspects: Acrobatics, therapeutic flying and Thai Massage according to the level and needs of the group.
03.00 – 06.00 pm: Workshop – Kalari for beginners and intermediate students including animal postures, Kalugal and learning the salutation form “Kalari Vandanam”. More advanced forms will be taught to intermediate and advanced students.
06.30 pm: supper
08.30 pm: Free time – choose between a delicious Thai Massage workshop, sauna, campfire sessions or simply simply do whatever you please…

Aleah and Ben will grace us with their passion to music – morning concerts for joint singing, a kirtan-yoga-session and an open concert for dancing and singing on Friday or Saturday are an essential part of the program.

 

 

Almuth Kramer
Yoga.AcroYoga.Thai Massage

Almuth is an AcroYoga teacher, Yoga teacher (BYV), bodyworker (Thai Yoga Massage) and clown based in Berlin. She studied dramatics and communication science in Berlin and Buenos Aires. Besides teaching AcroYoga and Yoga Almuth is working as an assistant director in theatre and music projects and festivals and as a clown and instructor for circus and theater pedagogy for , an agency for children`s animation and professional training.

 

Kai Hitzer
Kalarippayat

Kalarippayat is often refered to as the mother and martial arts and is one of the most ancient forms of human movement still in existence. It is the martial- and healing art of old india and has been practiced in pits dug into the red earth of soutern india since time immemorial – a hymn to kundalini, that which “resides in the pit”. Kalari trains the full scope of the phycophysical body, its aim being the realized state “when the body becomes all eyes”.
Kai is a senior student of his teacher C.M. Sherif Gurukkal and has been a pioneer of introducing students to the practice outside of India.

Lucie Beyer
Yoga.AcroYoga.Thai Massage

Lucie lives in Hamburg, Germany, but is constantly traveling and teaching workshops & retreats all over the world.
As Yoga- and AcroYoga teacher and passionate bodyworker, her approach to the practice is playful, yet deeply rooted in the yogic tradition.
She focuses on trusting and healing togetherness, from which her students can unfold their true potential. Lucie runs SUTRA COLLECTIVE in Hamburg together with Kai, as well as the “die Zauberwerkstatt” (“The Magic Workshop”) – an agency for kid’s animation where she as clown, pedagogue and instructor for trainees.

Prices include lodging, program (all workshops, classes, sauna, concerts etc.) and two yummmmmy organic vegatarian meals per day. Snacks for in between can be purchases at the divine “RAW-Cafe”.

Travel

Travel has to be arranged individually and independently. However, we are happy to assits. The closest Airport is in Gothenburg. For a fee of roughly € 25,- a shuttle can bring you directly to the retreat site. You can also take the train from major european cities like Berlin to Svenshögen. A shuttle can pick you up at the station at no additional cost. Early arrivals or late departures in order to enjoy the serene beauty a little longer can be arranged at additional charge.
